A look at the work done to create the logo for the new podcast "C & B Family Radio Hour" so it best reflected the queer, vintage, unorthodox tone of the show.

C&B Family Radio Hour is a vintage radio drama collection sponsored by a cigarette company. To evoke that in the logo I chose to play with vintage microphones, radios and cigarette packaging.

I leaned heavily into script fonts for the "C&B" portion of the logo to evoke the painted sign feel of the era.

I presented every possible color combination that excluded the box from being pink.

The podcast creators realized that pink triangles have historically been used as a symbol for gay rights. This fit the queer show themes perfectly and the final color scheme is the colors of the trans flag.
